By attending this workshop you will be able to:
- Introduce brain-based therapy for subtle trauma into your practice.
- Understand the methods of Crucible Neurobiological Therapy.
- Identify the interpersonal neurobiological impacts of traumatic mind mapping and repeated disgust reactions.
- Recognize subtle impairments in clients’ in-session functioning.
- Help clients resolve repeated exposure to traumatic mind mapping and disgusting behavior.
- Become more resilient to experiencing traumatic mind mapping (“spaghetti brain”) in psychotherapy sessions.
- Use visualization to help clients reprocess unresolved memories of subtle traumatic experiences.
- Deconstruct clients’ written mental dialogues to help them resolve “emotional superglue” to people who do disgusting things.
- Assist clients in dealing with difficult aging parents.
- Make productive written comments to clients about their written mental dialogues.
- Use clients’ dialogues to identify difficulties and successes (progress) in treatment.
- Handle common problems in working with clients’ visualization and written materials.
- Apply the methods of Crucible Neurobiological Therapy to yourself.
Please note all times are approximate. Because we are focusing on practical learning, case deconstruction, and participant involvement, everyone benefits from the freedom to pay more attention to some aspects more than others. This may alter the time devoted to each topic.

- Prior attendance at last year's workshop is not a prerequisite for registering. However, we strongly recommend reading Brain Talk before this year's program. For more about BrainTalk, click here.
- Attendance at all six days will be required.
- Fees include coffee and beverage breaks. Lunch is on your own all days.

These recordings will be used in our subsequent trainings for mental health professionals and will not be shown on television or to the general public. All cameras will be aimed at Dr. Schnarch, as recording what he says and does is the object of this project. However, your appearance or voice could incidentally appear on camera or be recorded through your participation in the workshop. For this reason we ask that all participants sign a video release (click here to view u0026amp; print) allowing us to video tape you as a part of the workshop and to use the video tape solely at our discretion for future training/educational/informational programs.
